The More Reflective you are, the more Effective you are

I like to take some time over the Christmas period and throughout the first week In January to really reflect on what was, and what’s yet to be

I simply take myself into nature with a pen and a journal and with no time limits I ask myself questions such as,

Who did I become in 2023?
Who can I become in 2024?

How would I rate my physical, mental and emotional health out of 10?

How are the relationships with my nearest and dearest?

What were my three biggest wins this year and why?

What were my three biggest lessons this year, and why ?

As the author of my life, what do I need to leave behind in the chapter titled, 2023

The quality of your life can significantly improve by the quality of the questions you ask yourself if you are prepared to answer and approach them with integrity.

With the answers and knowledge gleaned from this simple exercise you now have the roadmap and emotional attachment to create the stepping stones to success in 2024.

Ive included the wheel of life exercise that I fill in to help me this exercise, rating key areas of my life from 1 – 10. I then ask myself how can I improve that score by 1.

With this information and knowledge, I create a plan using my goals as stepping stones to success so that I am heading in the right direction, however without that period of reflection, we often don’t know where we are coming from. In order to plot exactly where you are in any map you must know both points
